Create New Project

The Create New Project feature in the DigiSquares platform allows users to set up either a new Application or Artificial Intelligence (AI) project with specific configurations. This guide provides step-by-step instructions to help you easily configure a new project based on your needs.

Navigation & Project List​

On the Projects page, users can view the list of existing projects with:

  • Project Name
  • Project Type (e.g., WebApp)
  • Assigned Users
  • Status (e.g., Progress, Complete)

An example project listed:

  • CPQ Management
    • Project Type: WebApp
    • Assigned To: Multiple users (shown as avatars)
    • Status: Progress (Orange label)

Steps to Create a New Project​

1. Open the "Create Project" Form​

  • Click the "New Project" button on the top right corner.
  • A modal popup will appear on the right side of the screen.

2. Enter Project Details​

  • Project Name: Enter a unique name. This name will be displayed on the project dashboard.

Application Project Configuration​

  1. Select Project Type
    Choose the type of application project you are creating:

    • WebApp (Selected, highlighted in purple)
    • Mobile
    • Workflow
    Web
    Mobile
    Workflow

  2. Choose UI Framework
    Choose a UI Framework for your project. Available UI:

    • React
    • Blazor.NET
    React
    Blazor.Net

  3. Select Database
    Choose a database for your project. Available databases:

    • MySQL
    • PostgreSQL
    • SQL Server
    • MariaDB
    MySQL
    PostgreSQL
    SQL Server
    MariaDB

  4. Select Backend Framework
    Choose the Backend framework for your application:

    • Node.js
    • Microsoft .NET
    • Java
    • Python
    Node.js
    Microsoft .NET
    Java
    Python

Additional Information​

  • Description: Provide a brief description of the project’s purpose and objectives.
  • Start Date: Select the project’s start date using the date picker.
  • End Date: Set the project’s expected end date to help with timeline management.
  • Existing project list: Shows project status badges.

Save the Project​

  • After completing all required fields, click Save to create your project. To discard changes, click Cancel.
